• WEEKLY WORKOUT SCHEDULE.

One of the topics I get the most DMs on through Instagram is how many times a week I do the Melissa Wood Health (MWH) workouts, how I combine them and if I do other workouts. So today I thought I would break down my typical weekly workout “schedule” to provide insight on exactly what I do.  Let me just prewarn you this is a lazy girls’ guide to workout out as I barely go to the gym, don’t do any intense workouts, am not into weight lifting and could give two shits about macros or whatever the hell those are. I work a full time 9 – 5 job,…

  • LOVING LATELY.

Happy Friday lovers. Today I wanted to share what I have been crushing on lately. And when I say crushing, I mean obsessing because I am a Libra and everything is all or nothing in my world. Siete Chips // These chips are sooo good. They contain: cassava flour, avocado oil, coconut flour, ground chia seed, sea salt, citric acid, tomato powder, nutritional yeast, smoked serrano powder, citric acid, jalapeño powder, toasted onion powder and roasted garlic powder. They taste like a healthier option to a Dorito and I am obsessed. You can find these at Whole Foods, on their website & Amazon (but they are much pricier). Kite Hill Chive…

  • VEGAN PEANUT BUTTER CUPS.

I may not spend a lot of time in the kitchen, but when I do, I like to create healthy desserts that are made with few and natural ingredients. It is almost like a game for me to figure out how to do them as simple as possible and I like the precision involved with baking vs. cooking. Sorry bf, you still have to make our dinner. My favorite dessert of all time (and I am sure many people agree) is Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and I have been seeing healthier versions all over Pinterest, but every recipe I found had a number of steps and each involved multiple ingredients.…

  • Lemon Ginger Coconut Bites Recipe.

This weekend I created a bunch of healthy desserts with my boyfriend’s mom and my absolute favorite of the bunch was these Lemon Ginger Chocolate Bites. The batter alone tastes like lemon meringue pie filling. Originally the recipe was for “bars” with no chocolate but we decided that turning them into balls and putting vegan dark chocolate on them made them much more fun. This was my first time using a food processor and it was amazing, going to have to splurge for one myself. The best thing about this recipe is that it is completely clean and raw so you can eat like 50 of them and not feel…

  • Raw Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

Who doesn’t love raw chocolate chip cookie dough? No one. Ever. But with a traditional cookie dough mixture you are eating raw eggs and other crap you can’t pronounce like oils and additives. So in an effort to recreate this amazing treat with a MUCH healthier twist, I created a simple recipe that tastes very similar to the real thing by using just a few natural ingredients plus dairy free chocolate chips. Ingredients: {One serving} 2/3 cup raw cashews 1/3 cup oats 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup 1 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract 1/4 cup Dairy Free Chocolate Chips (I like the Enjoy life ones) Directions: + Blend cashews and…
