The more I become interested in what I put in my body, the more I think about what I put on it. Especially when protecting my face from the sun since I am naturally very fair and burn easily. I have always had a love/hate relationship with sunscreen, never really finding one I liked or one that didn’t bother my skin…until I found COOLA.

I was lucky enough to test a bunch of their products and I wanted to share my thoughts on them, so check out the COOLA products I have been using to protect the skin I’m in.
Plant UV SPF 30 Moisturizer (Tinted + Non-tinted for the face)
I apply this SPF moisturizer before I put on my makeup in the morning, a little bit goes a long way. If I am on vacation I just use the tinted version and add some mineral powder over it for my makeup for the day. I love that this moisturizer doesn’t irritate my eyes at all like some sunscreens can and it really seeps into your face so you feel you are getting coverage.
Body SPF 30 Sunscreen (Plumeria is my fave smell of the bunch)
This is hands down my favorite sunscreen of all time. It doesn’t irritate your skin (hypoallergenic), it smells amazing and it is 70% certified organic so you feel like you are actually feeding your skin with nutrients, not just layering on chemicals. My boyfriend brought a tube to Mexico for a surf trip and all the guys said it was their fave too so it is man-approved.
Liplux SPF 15 Peppermint Vanilla
Yum…this lip balm smells so good, goes on so smoothly and really protects your lips from the sun. It is my favorite lip balm and I always carry this when I am traveling.
Environmental Repair Line //
My boyfriend spends a lot of time in the sun surfing, hours and days on end sometimes, so the ER+ line is perfect for him. He is naturally tan (so jealous of him), but after surfing for hours his skin needs some serious environmental repair. These have become his “man products” in the bathroom and he loves them.
Environmental Repair Eye Gel
This gel cools the area around his eyes after too much sun and adds moisture back to his dry skin.
Environmental Repair Face Serum
This serum has become his favorite to use after a long day surfing in the sun. It helps reduce redness and seriously prevents peeling of any kind. Of all the ER+ products this one is his absolute favorite and must have.
Environmental Repair Foam Wash
He never used many facial products before COOLA, but the foam wash he now uses as a standard face wash every day not just the days he gets sun and it reduces inflammation.
