My Holistic Shopping Bag.

As you know I am obsessed with listening to Food Heals Podcasts in the morning and thanks to them I have come across many new holistic and natural products to replace my current products. I can be a bit of a minimalist and overwhelmed when there are too many options, so I opt with just not trying anything instead, but I really want to be the healthiest version of myself, so now that I know the right products to be using I am really excited to start trying them. The best part is that every item costs around or under $10.

Lily Of The Desert Aloe Vera Gel ( 1×32 Oz) – I am using this as a moisturizer, but you can also drink it to help with digestion and stomach pH balance, it supports a healthy immune system, reduces toxins in the body and helps normal muscle and joint functions. Topically used, aloe vera provides hydration to the skin and reduces the appearance of damaged skin (hello vitamins E & C) which is why it is so great for your face. I like Lily of the Desert brand because it is natural and unlike most store-bought “aloes” their products contain 99% organic aloe vera.

Lily Of The Desert Aloe Vera Gel ( 1×32 Oz) – $7.99

Dr. Woods Shea Vision Pure Black Soap – I love using body wash but I get scared of the mainstream options so I did loads of research and came across this one. Because skin is our biggest organ I want to ensure the wash I use every single day is vegan and free of gross chemicals. This one is made with fair trade shea butter and vitamins, is cruelty free, paraben & phthalate free, lauryl/laureth sulfate free and 100% Vegan. A little goes a long way so this lasts for awhile and the price is comparable to store-bought brands.

Dr. Woods Shea Vision Pure Black Soap – $10.60

Acure Brightening Facial Scrub – My husband and I both love this product as it really brightens your face after use. It is free of sulfates, parabens and other chemicals, not to mention it is cruelty free. The Organic Chlorella Growth Factor and Raspberry help stimulate new cell growth while providing a deep cleansing, brightening experience. Plus, Kristin Cavallari uses this so I trust.

Acure Brightening Facial Scrub – $10

Eco-Dent Daily Care Baking Powder Toothpowder, Original Mint &  Preserve Tongue Cleaner – I am so scared of dental issues leading to health issues so I want to keep my mouth as clean and alkaline as possible. To keep it alkaline I am now brushing my teeth with the toothpowder and bought the tongue cleaner to start cleaning my tongue of bacteria. I plan on doing a whole post on dental issues and your health so stay tuned. In the meantime, buy some toothpowder and a tongue cleaner stat.

Eco-Dent Daily Care Baking Powder Toothpowder, Original Mint – $7

Preserve Tongue Cleaner – $4

Dr. Mercola Liposomal Vitamin C 1,000mg– Vitamin C helps keep your immune system up and they say Liposomal enables more Vitamin C to be absorbed by your system than regular Vitamin C. Make sure your vitamins don’t have Gelatin (animal product) and you can pronounce the ingredients. Many store-bought brands are not vegan and have loads of added sugars and weird ingredients. I have been reading so much about Vitamin C curing everything from colds to cancer so make sure you are taking this and if you have a health condition you should research taking even higher doses (post to come on this later).

Dr. Mercola Liposomal Vitamin C 1,000mg – $18

These are some of the new items I have added to my routine that I really wanted to share with you guys. Let me know of anything I might be missing out on and if you know of any great deoderants I should try out! Have a great weekend. xx, Beth
