This is such a simple but nutritious and filling recipe you can flavor how you want and use in a variety of ways. I like to make it Mexican flavored and use it for tacos, tostadas or over a salad to make a taco salad, but you can use it as a meat substitute for multiple recipes and flavor it how you like.
VEGAN TACO MEAT RECIPE //
1 cup walnuts
1/2 box of mushrooms (baby bells)
1 tbsp tamari sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
1/2 tbsp cumin
1/4 tbsp garlic powder
salt to taste
1/2 tbsp olive oil
Food process ingredients until chunky (not a puree). You can eat it as is (raw) or heat it up in a pan to warm up the “meat”.
