MICELLAR WATER //
I randomly bought this one at TJ Maxx after reading about what Micellar water is. If you dont know, micellar water is made up of “micelles” (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules) suspended in soft water. Micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so they are able to draw out impurities without drying out the skin, therefore, micellar water can be used as a facial wash, makeup remover and moisturizer all in one. I normally use coconut oil to remove my makeup but have been looking for something else because 1) I keep getting it on my concrete floor, and 2) my mascara doesn’t seem to budge with the oil. I tried this Micellar water on a whim and wow! It does everything it says it does and leaves your skin soft not stripped like most makeup remover wipes do. I like this version because you can pronounce the ingredients, it is 99% natural and has organic Aloe Vera and Rosehip Oil in it. I know there are many versions of micellar water out there right now, so be sure to do your research on the ingredients before buying.
MUNG BEAN PASTA //
Seriously crushing on this mung bean pasta from Explore Cuisine and get this, the only ingredients are organic edamame + organic mung beans. The texture is much closer to pasta than a lot of the other pasta alternatives (corn, rice, etc) and my husband loves that you don’t feel bloated after. We have made it with marinara sauce, but my favorite is eating it with this AMAZING actually-tastes-like-cheese few ingredient Vegan Alfredo Sauce. Prepare for your mind to be blown.
ICE ROLLING //
I found out about Ice Rolling where I learn all my skin tips – from the lovely Skinny Confidential and I’m LOVING IT. This is the one I got for $11. I wouldn’t say it has changed my skin or anything crazy, but I do believe it reduces puffiness in the morning and I love how it feels, your skin feels tighter after. Cold temperatures cause constriction in the skin, resulting in a shrinking effect on the appearance of pores and blood vessels, creating a smoother, more even-toned surface over time. Cold treatments can also soothe inflammation and irritation so Ice Rolling is probably amazing for anyone with redness or acne. It also seriously helps when you have a hangover.
FOOD HEALS PODCAST //
This was my OG podcast and now I’m back for more. Choose an episode of interest in you and be prepared to pull over in your car to take notes. They interview so many people who have healed themselves holistically and with a plantbased diet. Not every guest on is vegan, but most of them are plantbased. I have listened to people on the podcast curing everything from cancer, autoimmune diseases and allergies, to horrible diseases that people think they have no cure for. If you are need of health inspiration, want to learn about how to heal with food or are hoping to help a loved one heal you have to listen to the girls of Food Heals.
SIETE WRAPS //
These are hands down the best wraps we have ever tried, not to mention they are: grain free, gluten free, dairy free and vegan. Ingredients are only: almond flour, tapioca flour, water, sea salt & xanthan gum. We have tried so many wrap options but none of them are as clean as these and most of them don’t taste that great. These deliver on both and I highly recommend them for tacos, lunch wraps, quesadillas and maybe even tofu scramble wraps in the morning. Will have to try that next!SaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSave
