SHIFTING My WFH Routine.

September 23, 2020

Last week I returned to my office for work and it has been a big shift in my daily routine. Waking up earlier, not being able to workout whenever I want, wearing real clothes and having to be more prepared with my food has all been a MAJOR change after six months of being home. Here’s how I’m shifting along with my new schedule:

Grocery plan, shop and prepare on Sundays. Since I can’t grocery shop whenever I want 🌈 I am back to planning and shopping on Sundays to set up my week for success. For example grocery lists and meal ideas, check out these GROCERY HAULS.

Make my lean green smoothie from my Ebook every the morning 🌿 bringing it with me in a Yeti and have it around 10am at work. If I am still hungry afterwards I have fruit, I always grab bananas and have them in my purse.

Listen to a podcast while driving to work to learn something new and get inspired. 🎧 This is one of the best daily practices I can recommend to implement during the work week! It puts you in a different headspace, you learn new things, get motivated and I always love to get lost in someone else’s story.

Melissa Wood Health Flows after work, following the weekly schedule on her app. 🙏🏼 I have been moving away from HIIT workouts and doing more low impact yoga + pilates movements to unwind after the work day. During quarantine I felt like I needed to sweat more, but lately I have been feeling more low key for my workouts. With the beginning of Fall happening too it just feels right in my bones.

Sauna after my workout or late night after dinner which is very calming 💦 listen to a podcast again during my session and gua sha. Check out the sauna I am obsessed with: JNH Joyous 1 Person Sauna. After I sauna I have been using the Necessaire body scrub in the shower and then slathering on the body lotion, which are all natural, clean and vegan.

Have you returned to the office? What healthy habits are you implementing to set you up for success? Let me know in the comments, I read them all. xx
